Washi Paper Table Lamp
Xuanzhi Table Lamp designed in 1951 by the Japanese artist. He chose the name Xuanzhi' for these objects. a word that means 'light' in Japanese. connoting both illumination and physical lightness.
The inspiration for the design of his lights stems from a visit to the Japanese fishing village of Gifu. watched the fishermen at work. They do not only use trained cormorants for the hunt but also lanterns to attract fish. These lanterns had ribs made of bamboo. which were covered with fine paper. For the Akari table lamp. the designer uses paper of the mulberry tree. because it softens the light. making it gentle and spreads it evenly.
Purchase instructions: This product undergoes a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue. As a result. you may notice minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade. Please be aware that this occurrence is considered normal and does not constitute a quality issue.
Note*: To ensure correct installation. please follow these connection guidelines:
- Connect the black wire to hole number 2.
- Attach the white wire to hole number 3.

Warranty Policy
Product warranty: We offer a two years warranty for our products(exclude the bulbs).
Within 2 years, if there is any issues or questions about the product, please contact us at support@mhlightings.com with the pictures and the videos of the problems you are having. We will reply the emails within 12 hours, and provide our solutions for the issues you are having. If the issues are from the accessories we will send you the free replacement by express, and you will be able to receive them in 9~10 work days. If the issue is caused by the electrical circuit, our engineer will help you to solve your problems within 1~2 work days.
(please make sure using the professional electrician to install the products)
Note: Damages caused by improper use, man-made damages or natural disasters are all not covered by our warranty policy.
After 2 years, we still provide technical support to help you to solve the issues, but you will need to pay for the replacement and the technical support.
