The Charleston collection draws inspiration from the opulent and prosperous 1920s. Featuring chandeliers, floor candelabras, and sconces, each piece is adorned with “champagne draped-prisms” reminiscent of long pearl necklaces and the flowing dresses of Charleston dancers. This collection pays homage to Georges Chevalier’s bold and ingenious creations, particularly through the Jets d’eau collection, which is integral to the history of Maison Baccarat and its private mansion. Marie-Laure de Noailles, the mansion’s owner during this era, played a significant role in fostering creativity, art, and renewal. In this spirit, the Charleston chandelier was selected to grace the first Baccarat Hotel in New York. The collection’s defining feature is its champagne color, evoking the splendor and ambiance of the Roaring Twenties. Like the legendary gilded red, Baccarat’s champagne hue is achieved through the fusion of gold and crystal.
